Why Persona 4 Is A Masterpiece

Today I'm going to argue why Persona 4 is one of the best games ever made. While re-releases and spin offs of the game, I'll be focusing on the original until the end. The first reason why Persona 4 is the best, is the characters. Each character is unique and memorable, with personal struggles and motivations that make them feel so real. My personal favorites are Naoto, Dojima, and Nanako, but every character is great.

The mystery in Persona 4 is truly engaging and keeps you guessing throughout the entire game unlike Persona 3. Every new piece of information you uncover leads to more questions and more intrigue, creating a sense of urgency to uncover the truth. The game's narrative structure is masterful, with the story unfolding in a way that is both unpredictable and satisfying. The characters you meet along the way are all unique and well-developed, each with their own motivations and secrets. This makes the mystery even more compelling, as you become invested in the lives of the characters and want to see them succeed. Overall, Persona 4's mystery is a testament to the game's excellent writing and storytelling, and is a big reason why I consider one of the best games of all time.

But the thing that makes Persona 4 a 10/10 game is the music. The game's soundtrack is nothing short of phenomenal, featuring an incredible range of musical styles and genres that perfectly capture the game's range of emotions and moods. From the upbeat J-Pop tracks that get your blood pumping during battles, to the haunting piano ballads that tug at your heartstrings during emotional scenes, the music in Persona 4 is a true masterpiece.

And for my Fourth and final point on why Persona 4 is the best is the setting. Despite taking place in a small town called Inaba, Persona 4 manages to make the world feel Vast and varied. There is always new places to go and secrets to uncover, which keeps the game feeling fresh and exciting unlike Persona 3.

Now, I Do have one problem with Persona 4's re-release, Persona 4 Golden released in 2012. While gameplay wise I think it's superior, the addition of Marie feels forced and completely out of place. Because the other characters completely change around her. And along with some extra scenes such as going to the beach, And starting a band make the game worse. But I will admit the entire month of Febuary is a very good addition.
